1877U Upholstered Windsor Dining Chair

This classic Windsor Dining Chair from Ercol combines strength and durability with simple good looks. The 6 ash spindles, curved seatback and sculpted saddle seat provide a comfortable and supportive sit. The chair back arch is steam bent from a single straight ash rail, and the seat has traditional wedge joints. A wedge joint is where the legs come through the seat and a wedge is then inserted into a cut, before the leg stump is hand sanded flush with the seat, to create a lovely design detail and a very strong joint. The Upholstered Windsor Chair is made from solid ash and comes in a choice of lacquered wood finishes or a black painted finish, and the upholstered seat is available in a choice of fabrics.
